Description

A Senior People Data Analyst is sought for a hybrid, Cape Town-based role focused on driving remuneration processes, HR analytics, systems support, and financial governance.

This position requires strong experience in calculating and validating incentive figures (LTI, STI), leading annual salary reviews, and preparing detailed reports on reward channels, turnover, absenteeism, and other HR metrics. Hands-on expertise in Excel and PowerBI is essential, as all data is currently managed manually with no established HRIS.

The analyst will ensure accurate, compliant remuneration data and contribute to benchmarking and process improvement projects, reporting directly to senior leadership and partnering closely with business stakeholders. The role involves developing predictive models, optimizing manual systems, and coaching others on interpreting HR data.

Candidates should hold a Bachelors Degree in Finance, Commerce, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline, and have at least five years’ relevant data analysis experience, preferably within financial services or a fintech environment. Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary, as is comfort working independently on manual, high-volume datasets and driving automation.
