SENIOR LEGAL ADVISOR, ASSET BASED FINANCE (JOHANNESBURG)

Are you a skilled legal professional with experience in asset-based finance and commercial contracts? We are looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team and provide expert legal support across a range of complex, high-value business products.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialised legal advice on all internal and commercial contractual matters related to asset-based finance.

Enable the maximisation of revenue streams by ensuring contracts align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with various business areas to deliver strategic solutions while managing legal risk. Ensure compliance with legal entity mandates and applicable regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in drafting, vetting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal documentation, particularly in asset-based finance.

• Proven leadership with at least 6 years’ experience in people management.

• Postgraduate LLB degree and admission as an attorney.

• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to manage complex legal matters with a commercial focus.
