High Impact Leadership
Leadership is the art of getting people to do what needs to be done because they want to do it. Good leaders do this by maintaining a balance between being a confident leader while at the same time being a caring leader. They know that to achieve this balance they need to maintain their composure i.e. keep their emotions under control. This is balanced leadership. People respond well to balanced leaders. When things go wrong, the balanced leader keeps or quickly regains composure, and confronts the problem in a confident and caring manner to return the situation back to a state of balance. Unbalanced leaders are leaders who are too confident (domineering) or too caring (meek). People do not respond well to these leaders and will leave them at the earliest possibility opportunity. For a company’s managers or supervisors to be successful in leading their teams they need to be balanced leaders. This programme equips managers and supervisors with a clear understanding of balanced leadership and the tools and techniques necessary to lead in a balanced manner.

These changes make it challenging and impact the company in making effective decisions. By providing a model of decision-making, Systems Thinking assists organisations in successfully adapting to change while Strategic Thinking provides effective business solutions and plans. Strategic Thinking also helps business managers assess policy issues, achieve long-term planning, establish goals and priorities as well as recognise potential risks and opportunities.
